No lines? I wanted to try something new.

Ah, Diddy and Dixie... What can I say? I love monkeys. Especially Nintendo monkeys. Anyway, out of all Kongs these two are my favourites and Donkey Kong Country 2 was my favourite of all DK country games.

Heh, these two make such a cute couple. But... I never recall seeing them in any cute and/or romantic situations... I mean, sure in fan art but in any DK games. Actually, they seem to hate eachother. I mean, in DK country 1, if you switched between DK and Diddy, they were all like "yeah! you go buddy!". But in DK country 2, Dixie literally kicks Diddy out of her way and Diddy pulls Dixie's hair and throws her behind him... I guess they just like to show their affection by teasing eachother. How cute.
But seriously, unfortunately DK Countries are the only DK games I have played so I don't know what kind of relationship these two have in newer games so if someone knows, please tell me.

Anyway, about this picture... I was meant to do Diddy&Dixie picture a long time ago but I wasn't happy with the sketches until now. I wanted to make a picture inspired by how they treat eachother in DKC2. There's love but in a form of teasing.

Unfortunately, Dixie never appeared much in the newer games so a deeper relationship was never really explored.
